A look at the toprows of the rovers 360° pans

The purpose of this work is to have a comparative view of the visibility of features in the distance or on the horizon and to get an idea of the area under different lighting conditions over several days, at different times of day, and in different seasons. Therefore no histogram matching is applied to these panoramas and sol / LTST / frame-ID is annotated for each frame. Only the panoramas for which calibrated data has been made available (up to sol 540) are included. At this time I have made full-res and 50% .jpg's for color and false-color and a vertically exaggerated view for easier identification of landforms on the horizon. QTVR in lossless and highly compressed is also available. By March '06 I hope to finish 'orientation' versions for each pan, with nearby landmarks and important horizon-features labeled.
