A walk on Mars...with Spirit & Opportunity, the Mars Exploration Rovers


RECENT 'RAW' ROVER IMAGERY

These are all mosaics from Spirit. So far I haven't made time for Opportunity raw images..a few have been posted @ UMSF. As the compressed .jpg files are harder to work with in terms of differing brightness and color some of these mosaic suffer from illumination differences, vignetting, etc... Vignetting has been cured largely thanks to Mike Theusner's anti-vignetting tool. I have taken quite some time for some of these while having given up on others, to pick up again once calibrated data is made available to the public.
